Job Description
Drives achievement of business objectives by acquiring, managing, and delivering key information to internal (and at times external) partners regarding company, market, competition, and industry insights. Provides data that enriches and supports strategic decision making processes for the US Truck Tire market. Leads special projects and coordinates actions across product areas and functions (Programs, Pricing, Product).
-Responsible for Market Intelligence across all US Truck Tires product areas (New tires, Retread, Digital Solutions).
-Perform data research, analysis and consolidation for planning periods (Strategy / Budget). Create and analyze department dashboards and provide summarized status for market share, tire industry seasonality, econometrics reporting. Perform research (quantitative and/or qualitative) on markets, customers, and/or competitors.
-Strategic Foresight: Evaluate future trends impacting business and provide recommendations to management. Demonstrates proven analytical capabilities to provide regular and relevant updates in key market intelligence processes. Reporting will include market share, econometrics, industry-specific seasonality, and competition. Leverages quantitative and qualitative techniques to provide actionable insights and generate recommendations from these reports. Is able to visualize data in a compelling manner.
-Leads and/or coordinates strategic initiatives. Supports communications initiatives as necessary by initiating information gathering processes and analyzing results, all of which impact or profit the US market. Coordinates and proposes recommendations to management.
-Collaborates with Market Intelligence Americas team to maximize business value out of Market Intelligence processes, analyses, and recommendations.
-Responsible for data program and outputs of collaboration with trade associations.
