Partners with the Advertising sales teams in greater Baltimore, Salisbury and Washington DC market areas. Responsible for managing a team that drives the execution of client-centric recommended strategies designed to reach a customer’s target audience through our various product offerings. Core Responsibilities
Leads a team that facilitates and develops customized sales materials and resources needed from a strategic narrative lens throughout the full sales cycle including strategic analyses of campaign performance for the medium/large retail business vertical.
Provides leadership to Retail Sales Development Team consisting of Advertising Strategists and Account Specialists.
Ad Strategists (as well as Manager) primarily responsible for overseeing the kickoff and development of a client’s initial campaign strategy, including attending/conducting the discovery session, building/designing custom strategic PPT inclusive of solutions, and runs as point when partnering with other departments supplying needed deliverables.
Account Specialists primarily responsible for collaborating with members of the Sales Development team in executing strategic proposals including the researching, gathering and development of relative materials and reports for a client pitch or campaign.
Demonstrates a very strong ability to lead multiple strategies/projects at once and delegate several tasks to individuals within the team to eventually bring together a cohesive impactful narrative.
Interfaces with Ad Sales and other departments to coordinate strategy sessions, ad packages, sponsorships, creative and other advertising options being offered.
Works closely with assigned advertising sales teams to understand and follow schedules for major initiatives and advertising campaigns.
Constantly educates self on what is happening in the retail industry, advertising and marketing industry, and keeps a pulse on economical trends and changes.
Strong player, delegator and coach
Monitors Advertiser spending reports available and identifies trends
Creates work performance standards and implements operational policies and procedures.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance required.
Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime if needed.
