R-434265 Manager Professional Services, Dispensing PMO (REMOTE w/Travel)
Purpose:
The Manager Professional Services, Dispensing PMO is a management position responsible for leading and developing teams within the Project Management and National Teams organization. Project and Program Management lead implementation projects, manage all aspects of the financial backlog management process to meet revenue delivery goals, and are ultimately responsible for the outcome of each project. This group is also responsible for the PMO and associated project and program management practices and tools. Previous work experience in the Government and Federal space is preferred, but not required.

Overall responsibilities:
The overall responsibilities of the Professional Services Manager within the National Operations and PMO departments include:
Support strategic direction of BD Medication Management System (MMS) and provide leadership to the Project Management and National Operations organizationDevelopment and management of project / program management processes and toolsManagement and oversight of the Dispensing implementation processResponsible for ensuring the successful implementation of BD MMS productsDevelopment and management of effective practices, tools and standards for communicating information to teams, peers, executive leadership, and customers implementation activitiesEstablishes strong collaborative relationships at all levels within BD, customer and prospect facilitiesDrives collaboration with Sales to support processes including pre-sales, contract / quote support, Quarterly Business Reviews, etc.Management of accurate financial forecasting and delivery on monthly and quarterly revenue budgetsMonitors and controls expenses in alignment with budgetResponsible for customer engagement, customer happiness and managing critical issues as assignedPerform select Account Management functions for assigned customersCollaborate within Dispensing Implementation to resolve roles, responsibilities, and staffing needs for the implementation team to support customer projects / programs, company goals and objectivesRecruits, manages and leads a hard-working teamBuild strong team environment, culture of partnership, collaboration, continuous improvement and customer excellenceEnsures project and program manager readiness to align with Organizational Readiness plansReviews analyzes activities, costs and operations data to resolve progress towards Implementation goalsMaintain strong industry and product knowledgeLead time and resources effectively to meet company objectives

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experienceLeadership or project management experience requiredPrefer experience leading teams with experience implementing and supporting healthcare IT software solutions, experience with capital equipment model is a plusExperience with managing virtual teams and demonstrated ability to lead in a matrixed environmentSpecific knowledge of BD Medical Systems business or products highly desired.Prefer knowledge of hospital systems and procedures that integrate with BD products.Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and meet BD's auto safety standards.Home based position with travel. Travel may range from 25 - 75%, overnight travel. Position requires flexible working hours, including some nights and weekends. Ability to work independently from home officeUpon hire, must provide proof of, and maintain current immunizations and obtain additional immunizations appropriate for the facility which enables access to customer sites in order to perform crucial job functions. Proofs must include: Hepatitis B, Influenza (current year), MMR (mumps, measles, rubella), Varicella (chicken pox) Annual TB/PPD (skin test), Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis
