  Manager, Product Management, Blockchain and Crypto

  Mastercard Blockchain and Digital Assets group is part of Mastercard's global Consumer Solutions division, focused on the evolution of blockchain technology and the digital assets ecosystem and their implication on payments and commerce. Mastercard is a multi-rail company that continuously aims to provide value-added services to stakeholders across our ecosystem, including the use of compliant digital asset solutions.

  The Blockchain and Digital Assets Team is looking for a Manager, Product Management to support the design, development and implementation of infrastructure and solutions for settlement of funds for Mastercard's crypto and blockchain products and services and for new products at the company more broadly. The role supports the execution of Mastercard's larger crypto and blockchain product roadmap.

  The ideal candidate has knowledge of the payment landscape, experience in a treasury services or transaction banking role and is interested in the blockchain and digital asset space.

  Role

  In the product management role you will,

  • Develop business requirements for payment and settlement solutions based on solid understanding of the needs of businesses and financial institutions.

  • Support the evaluation and recommend for implementation various crypto and blockchain-based systems for funds settlement between banks or businesses, including central bank digital currencies, stablecoins, and commercial bank solutions.

  • Direct implementation of such settlement solutions in support of different use cases (e.g., remittances, b2b flows) and internal products.

  • Engage in idea generation for new products and solutions that will support Mastercard's customers' needs in the payments space with a focus on Blockchain and Digital Asset based solutions.

  • Work with the team on concept validation, business case development, financial modeling and planning for individual products or product enhancements as required.

  • Partner with platforms and engineering teams by providing a clear product vision, well-defined product roadmap and initiatives as required; engage with global franchise, legal, regulatory, product and treasury teams to execute on the product and settlement roadmap.

  All About You

  • Experience in the payments industry and ability to adapt new technologies and emerging payment methods to existing and new use cases.

  • Experience in treasury services and transaction banking at a global bank is a plus.

  • Prior knowledge of payment networks and processing is a plus.

  • Strong interest in blockchain and crypto space

  • Experience in product development and product management, including concept definition / validation, and business requirements definition.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate your vision and roadmap effectively to a wide variety of stakeholders.

  • Entrepreneurial attitude, self-starter, ability to work independently.

  • Strong analytical skills, problem solver with the ability to take thoughtful risks.

  In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.   O'Fallon, Missouri: $178,000 - $284,000 USD

  New York City, New York: $214,000 - $341,000 USD

  Purchase, New York: $205,000 - $327,000 USD

  San Francisco, California: $214,000 - $341,000 USD
