The Supplier Management/Contracts team is looking for a dynamic and experienced Manager (Contracts Management) to work with our fast-paced and innovative Marketing organization.
The selected candidate will facilitate the procurement of a wide variety of goods and services including IT and telecommunication systems hardware, software, and business services for our Marketing organization This individual should be able to handle multiple assignments, prioritize tasks, and track progress to ensure deadlines are met. This position requires the ability to coordinate, communicate and manage the team and with stakeholders (i.e. Business customers, Legal, Risk assessment teams, Finance, and Budgeting). This position will also require analytical skills and the ability to identify process improvements and a proven history of making positive impacts and change.
Basic Qualifications4-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or other related fieldStrong problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skillsProven track record of identifying and implementing improvements to business processesExperience negotiating Marketing contracts Experience with ensuring customer requirements are met during the negotiation processExperience assuming responsibility and independent ownership for a portfolio of workExperience communicating with senior management and responding to their inquiries and requestsDemonstrated ability to redline contracts and/or identify contract terms that increase risk and reduce value for an organizationExcellent communication and time management skills; able to communicate contract issues to diverse audiencesDemonstrated ability to negotiate with vendors to more effectively position GEICO to receive the best value proposals for the corporationPreferredQualifications Master's in Finance or Business Administration, IT Major, or Juris Doctor Firm understanding of software licensing metrics Experience with Vendors that provide Marketing Services and Products Experience with Contract Management Systems Experience with Cloud computing Location - Hybrid : This position is a hybrid role and will require 2-3 days working in office.
