Position Summary
As a quality informatics analyst, you will primarily be responsible for working with enterprise health plan data and Quality HEDIS performance monitoring and trending for dashboard development. In collaboration with data teams, leverage Tableau as well as our other analytics tools (Alteryx), focusing on translating data into comprehensive insights and actionable results for our organization.
This position will:Serve as subject matter expert in the development, implementation and maintenance of team dashboards (Tableau) for Quality Management team. Serves as a liaison between business report users and Informatics development consultants, translating business requirements into technical specifications for report development. Create and communicate messages based on available data from real-time analyses, including preparing easy-to-understand charts, tables, graphs, and other related documents for diverse audiences. Identify opportunities for process improvement and strives to simplify overly complex processes. Contribute to data warehouse enhancements by investigating opportunities for inclusion of new data sources, identifying and facilitating correction of data quality issues. Create complex queries, does technical report/programming in support of Quality improvement activities. Validate reports and deliverables for accuracy and timeliness per specifications and workflows. Meet with other plan departments and cross-functional areas to understand and facilitate data requests. Monitor and track data requests and regulatory notices. Analyze complex data for trends and outliers and provides in-depth root cause analysis. Emphasize clear documentation and writes code that is readable and reproducible. Understand nuances of data, check for reasonability, and works to improve data quality. Monitor and maintain audit processes and documentation. Influence changes/enhancements to business processes, policies, and system infrastructure to improve the information. All other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Proven experience as a Tableau developer with a focus on dashboard development to support business initiatives. Extensive experience with databases as well as interpretation and manipulation of related data (3-5 years of data interpretation and analysis experience required). Creates and evaluates the data needs of assigned projects and assures the integrity of the data. Ability to manage conflicting priorities and multiple projects concurrently. Strong SQL skills required: 2-3+ years of experience. Excellent Microsoft Office skills, analytical skills, and excellent organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Quality Performance Rating Programs (Stars, HPR, and QRS). Experience with Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) Measures. Experience designing, developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards to meet business needs. Experience with managed care plans (Exchange, Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial). Experience with health insurance data and operations. Experienced in relational databases, data systems and data warehouses. Experienced in SQL Server, Tableau, Power BI, SSRS, QuickBase. Education Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience. Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$63,300.00 - $136,500.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
