About Manager, Data Analytics Solutions

  Description

  Are you a seasoned data scientist with a passion for leading teams and extracting meaningful insights from vast datasets? If you find solace in the intricate pathways of data forests and relish the challenges presented by decision trees, we want you to join us as our Data Analytics Leader.

  Responsibilities:

  Guidance and Reporting: Provide expert guidance on describing enterprise or vehicle performance through the application of statistical methods. Craft ad-hoc reports to communicate findings and recommendations to business partners.

  Collaboration : Thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with leaders and managers to address ad-hoc data and reporting needs effectively.

  Statistical Modelin g: Develop and build statistical models that capture company-wide trends, contributing to operational improvement and strategic decision-making.

  Data Validation : Conduct testing and validation of data sets to ensure accuracy and reliability.

  Problem Solving : Enjoy deciphering the meaning of data and explaining how various teams and leaders can leverage it to enhance and streamline their processes.

  Documentation and Structure: Maintain well-defined structures in documentation and data, utilizing a comprehensive toolset in statistical methodologies to address complex business problems.

  Hybrid:

  Position does not require an employee to be on-site full-time but the general expectation is that the employee be onsite an average of three (3) days each week

  Requirements:

  The ideal candidate should possess:

  Experience: Minimum 10 years experience required. Data Integration Skills: Proficiency in SQL, NoSQL (Hadoop, Cassandra), Alteryx, and Trifacta. Business Intelligence/Reporting Tools: Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Excel, JMP, SAS, SPSS, and Cognos. Database Knowledge: Familiarity with databases such as Access, Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2. Analytical Expertise: Extensive experience, using data and judgment, to plan and accomplish goals effectively. Statistical Proficiency: Proficient in statistical methods such as regression, probability analysis, risk analysis, and statistical process control. Data Management: Understanding of data gathering, inspecting, cleansing, transforming, and modeling/diagramming techniques. Communication Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to distill complex subjects for a wider audience. Collaboration and Project Management: Excellent collaboration and project management skills to lead technical teams successfully.
