Manager, BizOps
Overview: Data & Services looking for role of Business Operations Manager to drive the DevOps transformation at Mastercard with a vision of getting to the better world. Business Operations at Mastercard leading the transformation through industry standard tooling and governing the product development life cycle to meet BizOps Golden Standards. We need some great minds with appetite to change, reduce the toils with automation and be the production readiness steward for the platform.
• Support daily operations with a hyper focus on triage and then root cause by understanding the business implications of our products.
• Shift left to be more proactive and involve upfront in the design & development process to deliver production ready products.
• Ensure the system is highly available with proactive monitoring and self-healing capabilities.
• Proactively manage production and change activities to maximize customer experience, and increase the overall value of supported applications
• Managing, mitigating, or elevating awareness of the business risk of all customer interactions with Mastercard's technology platforms
• Centralizing points of interaction for both internal and external partners by communicating effectively with all key stakeholders
• Align Product and Customer Focused priorities with Operational needs
Responsibilities
• Relentlessly focus on customer experience and deliver consistent level of support.
• Responsible for coordinating with one or more groups to ensure platform goals are met.
• Develops plans to improve quality on a group of applications of a platform.
• Ensures platform integration procedures works seamlessly with other related systems within Mastercard.
• Implement industry standard tools and new methodologies to improve the functioning of Business Operations.
• Promote Business Operations best practices and create sustainable support model.
• Identifying and communicating risks proactively that can prevent incidents for all lines of business.
Experiences
• Experience in application development lifecycles and how it integrates with operations.
• Continuous Integration, Delivery and Deployment Techniques using industry standard automation and orchestration tools.
• Successful track record in supporting highly available production platform.
• Experience in working across development, operations, and product teams to prioritize needs and to build relationships.
• Experience in dealing with difficult situations and making decisions with a sense of urgency after doing due diligence."

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
