What you'll do...
The Manager, Automation Engineering (Data Analytics) is an exciting opportunity to join the Fleet Services division to lead out on data analytics, dashboard development and KPI visibility to guide areas of the business in timely decision-making efforts. This role will support the efforts in Fleet Services data sourcing and development of tools to support our journey in world class data mining, product, and visibility. This exciting opportunity will work cross functionally within the Supply Chain environment as well as with 3rd party suppliers from Maintenance, Strategy, Operations, Finance and our OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers) partners. You will provide data insights working primarily with Supply Chain, Global Tech, 3rd party equipment providers and Field Associates across the country. The role is based in Bentonville, AR and reports directly to the Senior Manager, Automation Engineering.

You are familiar with industry trends to include Supply Chain industry experience around Operations, Maintenance, Strategy and Equipment
You have experience with Overall Equipment Efficiency, Total Productive Maintenance or Total Cost of Ownership
You have experience working in multiple business areas/functions/segments
You have a strong understanding of statistics with applied experience on analyzing large data sets
You can collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
You have strong skills in building Dashboards, data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI and Tableau
You can work effectively with internal stakeholders
You are curious, proactive, and comfortable working in unstructured environments
Ability to interact effectively in a cross-functional team and great communication skills

Advising leadership and partners on data optimization for modeling by supporting priorities and providing a forward-looking lens for the Walmart Fleet Services team
Providing relevant data sources and analysis for Supply Chain operations by understanding business context, combining industry knowledge and market information
Developing insightful solutions by identifying problems and data innovations for forecasting and streamlining decision support solutions
Using new technology and data explanation formats to improve processes
Leveraging data analysis tools to explore data, develop and test hypotheses, uses data to influence strategic work and build and present insights
Analyzing stakeholder needs and partner with them to share relevant information
Organizing thoughts, communicating articulately, confidently, credibly, and concisely on data and it's story
Interpreting information to quantify the anticipated outcome of Supply Chain/Fleet Services decisions
Explaining the key concepts and features of data analysis methods. Lists the major sources (e.g. tools, dashboards, industry sources etc.) for collecting data
Building collaborative relationships with key partners by driving priorities aligned to business goals
