SUMMARY
Coordinates and/or executes a full range of building and grounds maintenance and improvement
activities, including equipment installation and repairs, while adhering to the Quality Management
System, Lean Manufacturing Principles, and all other applicable environmental, safety, and government
regulations by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Coordinate and/or perform all internal and external facility maintenance, including HVAC system maintenance, as well as painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related repair and maintenance activities.
Assist with planning for new equipment installations or existing equipment relocations, coordinate all associated rigging activities, and work with QA to conduct equipment validation activities (IQ OQ) following appropriate protocols.
Support the planning and implementation of all facility modifications and renovations.
Troubleshoot and repair all machine tools and equipment (manual and CNC).
Promote the implementation and help sustain lean initiatives within the maintenance department as well as on the shop floor, including regular coaching of 5S organization, housekeeping, and preventive maintenance.
Establish reliable vendors and requisition tools and equipment as required, prepare documentation for accounting, and maintain corresponding records. Obtain estimates and secure outside contractors to support internal and external facility systems and renovations.
Serve as an active member of Safety Team and related teams as required.
Comply with safety and environmental policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal safety and building regulations (OSHA, NEC, BOCA, etc.).
Understand and comply with company policies, safety guidelines, quality system procedures, and housekeeping standards.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience
Technical school certification and 5-7 years related experience; or equivalent combination of
education and experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
