  Role: Luxury Media Senior Manager (LAC) – 5A

  Purpose of the positionThe LAC Luxury Media Manager at Diageo is responsible for orchestrating media strategies and content creation for our luxury spirits brands in the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) region. Your primary mission is to establish and lead an agile media strategy, dedicated to elevating our brands. This role is integral to driving brand visibility, consumer engagement, and market share growth in the region. The successful candidate will lead a team of three contractors and collaborate with various agencies to implement effective media and content strategies.

  Decision Making

  The LAC Luxury Media Manager will have decision-making authority for media strategy and planning within the LAC luxury brands portfolio, as well as building an agile media approach. This includes setting media budgets, selecting media channels, negotiating with media agencies, and evaluating campaign performance.It will also lead the content adaption strategy for the three mentioned markets, covering always on, tentpole moments and creators/influencers briefing/content adaptation. This includes leading our content agencies, content creation and distribution strategies, influencer partnerships, and real-time marketing initiatives.

  AccountabilitiesDigital Media Strategy: Develop, implement, and optimize digital media strategies for the top three luxury spirits brands, tailoring them to the outstanding market conditions of Brazil, Colombia, and Mexico, while sustaining luxury brands standards.Agile Media Orientation: Stay updated with industry trends and quickly adapt media strategies to changing market dynamics, ensuring campaigns are agile and adaptable.Content Creation: Coordinate and lead content creation for the brands, including always-on content, tentpole moments coverage, and influencer briefing, aligning the content strategy with brand objectives.Media Buying: Lead digital media buying, ensuring budgets are effectively allocated, and monitor ROI to optimize media spend.Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of three contractors, providing guidance, feedback, and support to improve their performance and contribution to brand success.Agency Teamwork: Work closely with external agencies, encouraging effective partnerships to ensure campaign execution aligns with brand guidelines and goals.Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Luxury Brand Managers, Culture and Advocacy leadership, to align media strategy with brand objectives, ensuring a unified approach to media planning and execution.Reporting and Analysis: Regularly report on campaign performance, analyzing data and metrics to make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.

  Leadership ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to our media and content team, as well as our media agencies, encouraging a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with various departments, including Luxury Brand Management, Digital teams, and Finance, to align media strategies with overall business goals.Innovation: Stay current with media trends, new technologies, and best practices to continually improve media strategy.

  QualificationsAn agile collaborator, with strong communication skills.Experienced working on luxury brands, with passionate attention to detail.Experienced in how to craft and implement luxury media partnerships and luxury standards.Experienced in detailed media planning and buying across offline and online media .Experienced partnering with culture/pr counterparts to drive connected thinking across subject areas.Solid experience in media, digital, luxury + across a portfolio of brandsProficiency in digital advertising platforms and analytics tools.Consistent track record in leading media budgets and campaigns.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to market changes.Strong leadership and team management skills.Must have: proficiency in English and Spanish.
