The Loss Mitigation Specialist role is responsible for providingworld class customer care to our customers. This position will provide anexceptional level of customer service by taking ownership and responsibilityfor all activity occurring at Cornerstone Servicing and ensuring customers areeducated regarding all hardship assistance options offered.What you'll need to be successful...Responsible for negotiating payment arrangements, keeping our borrowers intheir homes and curing delinquencyManage inbound and outbound calling queues via automated calling systemContinuously improve knowledge base and skillset to ensure maximum level ofcustomer satisfaction and world class customer experienceUnderwrites loans for loss mitigation in accordance to FHA, VA, USDA,FNMA, FHLMC guidelines and decisions all loss mitigation waterfall optionsfor borrower(s) seeking workout assistance.Recommends loss mitigation actions on requests for proposed foreclosurealternatives within timeframes established by investor.Utilizes ability to read and interpret title searches and rectify outstandingjudgements, liens, etc.Maintains quality control and production standards defined by CHLPerform other job-duty related issues as assignedQualifications:High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experienceMinimum 2 years of experience in mortgage servicingMinimum 2 years of experience in a Collections environmentBi-lingual skills a plusExperience with Business Purpose Loans or Non-QM Loans preferredStrong phone etiquette while having a passion for taking care of customerneeds with exceptional customer service skillsSolid analytical skills with the ability to exercise prudent judgmentExceptional organization and time management a mustComfortable being a team playerStrong interpersonal skills in addition to verbal/written communicationAbility to work through stressful situations professionally and respectfullyAttention to detailWho we are....Cornerstone Servicing is a best-in-class mortgage servicer with a reputationof amazing service, customer satisfaction, employee retention andhappiness!
