Job Description Your Career
We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused professional. As part of the EMEA Customer Product Evaluations Team, you will support pre-sales activities specifically by making Palo Alto Networks products available for customers to evaluate. The candidate for this position will be responsible for developing and maintaining a good technical understanding of the full Palo Alto Networks product line as well as trade compliance and logistics practices. This knowledge will be leveraged to handle restaging of equipment returning from customer evaluations and using automated scripting will load new software configurations for the next customer engagement.
Our methodology is first class customer first support. We’ve been recognized for this as an industry leader and we’re dedicated to continuing this standard. In this role, you will work with our account team systems engineers in the EMEA theatre as well as other members of our global evaluations teams. You will learn about OS releases, product licensing, product activations and troubleshooting issues associated with all of Palo Alto Networks products and subscriptions. You will become familiar with logistics and reverse logistics best practices and trade compliance policies in import / export as it pertains to physical shipments and cloud delivered products.
Your Impact
Determine quickest route to customer and prepare documentation to facilitate import / export with the understanding that reverse logistics is also requiredScreen end users for denied party lists and make more sensitive government end user determinationsAssist in applying for Encryption Licensing Arrangement (ELA) when appropriate with US BISCommunicate with sales teams on status of evaluation requests via email and updates to EVAL Tracking Tool (Sales Force) - Escalate as appropriate to management when issues arise Wipe clean (electronically) returning equipment to factory default using automated scripting capabilities and/or CLI commandsPhysically build new equipment configurations, with proper interfaces, cards, etc as neededStage equipment for new customer requests with proper software, licenses and configuration filesUpdate internal tracking systems with status of customer evaluation requests as neededExtend licensing terms for physical and virtual products as requestedReview daily export reports on overall status of EVAL processing and confirm compliance details are captured and accurateResponsible for inventory audit twice per yearOther duties and responsibilities as assigned by manager Qualifications Your Experience
