Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience managing warehousing, manufacturing, or supply chain operations.
Preferred qualifications: MBA or Master's degree.
Certification in project management.
Experience in operations management, problem-solving, and Third-Party Logistics vendor relationships.
Experience managing operations in multiple locations simultaneously.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple and changing priorities, apply structured thinking and logic to the work and provide solutions to problems.
Excellent decision-making, communication, and follow-up skills.

As a Logistics Operations Specialist, you will lead improvement initiatives that support all new server placements and server builds activities for North and South America in alignment and cross-functional coordination with Google Server Operations Managers, Third-Party Logistics Partners, and Global Logistics Operations. You will manage the planning of work, prioritization of work, exception management, staffing forecasts to complete the work and attainment of key performance results for all new deployments in North and South America. All success blockers must be precisely planned and escalated through cooperation and tenacity.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $102,000-$150,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Responsibilities
Update and communicate the forward looking deployment and build plans by site for Google Server Logistics.
Ensure accurate and understandable seismic, placement, population, and cabling documents are available to all Third-Party Logisticspartners prior to rack deployment and ensure Third-Party Logisticstraining is documented.
Be responsible for process improvement recommendations, change management, standardization of user documentation, creating processes that drive action, and prevent builds from missing service level agreements.
Be accountable for Third-Party LogisticsCentralized Builds teams working blockers and bugs that inhibit the Google Server Operations team from meeting or beating Service Level promises.
Be the Subject Matter Expert on all Google systems utilized to plan and execute placements and builds while supporting cross-functional company initiatives/projects.
