　　Responsibilities

　　We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Systems Engineer ( IT Engineer 4, Systems) in the IT Data Governance Administration (DGSA) team. DGSA is responsible for the IT administration of Informatica Data Governance and Marketplace Portal (Axon), Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC), Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) and Master Data Management (MDM). These products are critical for global data compliance, data literacy and data quality which is essential for Enterprise Mobility’s (EM) Data Strategy program and competitive analytical edge.

　　As part of the Data Strategy program, this IT Engineer 4, Systems position supports Informatica Axon, EDC, IDQ and MDM administration, scalability and optimization. As the IT Engineer 4, Systems , you will help translate business requirements into solutions that align with the overall Data Strategy vision. You will be an Informatica subject matter expert (SME) to be consulted by Cloud Data Engineering (CDE), the Data Governance Office (DGO), as well as, other EM Architects, Engineers, and Leadership on if/how/when Data Governance and Data Quality capabilities should be incorporated. This knowledge will require this IT Engineer 4, Systems to also stay informed of emerging capabilities, technologies, as well as, their potential impact to the Data Strategy, Information Security and Data Privacy policies, standards, and “best practices”. You will be responsible for defining DGSA technical roadmaps and strategies to maintain alignment across IT and our business customers. It is critical that this IT Engineer 4, Systems takes responsibility for the environment, ensures cloud resources are optimized, applied automation where applicable, and measured adherence to SLAs. Finally, to be successful in this role, you will also need to provide instructions, procedures, and guidance to support global adoption of data governance and data quality capabilities.

　　Maintains effective relationships with all levels of company management, internal customers, and data stewards that promotes understanding and produces results for all stakeholders.

　　Leads estimating efforts in project planning; provides technical leadership to project teams and/or leads project teams within own area/department and across functional teams

　　Takes an active role in applying advanced methods, theories, and research techniques to establish ongoing direction, specification, design, development and implementation of technology vision and strategy.

　　Accurately scopes deliverables including technical dependencies, risks, and issues to ensure seamless delivery, technology effectiveness and security.

　　Provides guidance and oversight on technical matters within a solution to ensure that the technologies are secure, interoperate and connect appropriately and support company vision and strategy.

　　Collaborates with other Architects and Engineers on recommended adjustments to the architecture to improve the overall quality and cost optimization for Data Governance and Data Quality solutions.

　　Establish and/or revise, monitor and establish service level agreements (SLAs) to best support Data Governance and Data Quality requirements.

　　Listens to and evaluates customer needs to determine and provide high quality solutions that align with customer expectations; identifies opportunities for improvement; ensures others are aligned with customer expectations and performance metrics.

　　Actively leads, coaches, mentors, and teaches other engineers; using influence, expertise, and leadership skills to support other teams as they implement data governance solutions.

　　Protect our customers, our employees, and our brands by incorporating security and compliance in all decisions; ensures security policy and procedure requirements are met; continuously identifies opportunities for improving security and implements strategies to improve our security posture.

　　Contributes to the development of strategic planning for the department and communicates clear, concise strategic vision.

　　Qualifications

　　Required :

　　Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future

　　Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities

　　8+ years of administering, designing, validating, and release management of Informatica Data Governance and Data Quality

　　5+ years Linux administration experience

　　Must possess exceptional communication skills and the ability to effectively defend ideas and solutions; produce business relevant presentations, convey complex information in a manner that is easily understood and actionable to both non-technical and technical leaders

　　Professional experience identifying and gathering solution needs; performing risk analysis, collaborating on architecture; acting and driving key stakeholder acceptance

　　Ability to communicate at all levels, build and foster relationships, including coaching and mentoring Architects, Engineers, Data Governance Office and other business leaders

　　Proven ability to operate in a highly autonomous fashion, repeatedly exercises exceptional, independent judgment, balances strategic against tactical planning

　　Experience collaborating, developing, documenting, and maintaining deliverables

　　Must demonstrate flexibility and agility related to critical thinking and making decisions with complex considerations as it relates to business implications

　　Subject matter expert in multiple areas of responsibility; represents team within and outside own department

　　Experience leading enterprise data governance delivery and operations

　　Expert in Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC) or similar data cataloging solutions. AI-powered data cataloging capabilities. Machine learning-based discovery engine. Multi-cloud and/or on-premises data sources

　　Expert with Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) or similar data quality solutions, which provide self-service data quality for business users, management of data quality processes, data quality transformations and connectivity

　　Experience with Informatica Axon or similar Data Governance Portal solutions

　　Experience with Informatica MDM or similar Master Data Management solutions both the back end as well as the C360 front-end

　　Experience with large scale data Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) Azure, Linux SQL Server and Databricks

　　Ability to stay up to date on relevant industry trends, products, applications, technical service, market conditions, and competitive activities

　　Preferred :

　　Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred

　　Experience with Machine Learning-based data discovery and Artificial Intelligence data cataloging

　　Experience with Informatica Intelligence Data Management Cloud (IDMC)
