  Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Lead Software Engineer in Concord, CA.

  Job Role and Responsibility : Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., is hiring a Lead Software Engineer to lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact; Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines; Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs; Conduct brainstorming session with the team to solve business problems based on existing requirements; Apply software engineering principles to analyze and problem solve, and design and solution; Monitor system performance and perform predictive maintenance; Assess new technologies before adoption and implementation; Perform system risk and reliability analysis; Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code; Remain current on new technologies and available vendor packages, evaluate, and make recommendations as necessary; Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors; Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives; Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals. Telecommuting is permitted up to 3 days a week. Position must appear in person to the location listed as the work address.

  Required Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or related technical field. Position requires 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a related role involving software engineering and software development.

  Specific skills required:

  Position requires the following:

  5 years of experience with Docker, Java, JSON, Oracle, React, UNIX, Bootstrap, Junit, Microservices, REST, Splunk, Apache, Kafka, Jenkins, MongoDB, Apache Tomcat

  5 years of experience with Code Development Tools: Eclipse, STS, Intellij

  5 years of experience with Scripting/Markup Languages: HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, JavaScript

  5 years of experience with Version Controlling Tool GIT; Web Services SOAP and REST

  5 years of experience with the following methodologies: Agile, Waterfall, Scrum

  2 years of experience with Cloud Services AWS or Azure
