Overview
The Chick-fil-A Infrastructure & Networking team is responsible for implementing and maintaining restaurant security infrastructure, access control systems, and cameras utilized for multiple business use cases. In this role you will utilize your expertise to design, build, and maintain technology infrastructure to meet business use case requirements, governing VMS (Video Management Systems) suppliers, selecting and managing hardware models, managing configurations, guiding hardware useful life refresh strategy, monitoring network capacity, developing playbook support procedures for break/fix and equipment moves/adds/change, and supporting management and monitoring tools.

Responsibilities
Provide advanced implementation and support for building access controls, alarms, cameras utilized for security and automations, and fire related systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including suppliers, system integrators, and project managers to implement and manage network solutions that support security, camera, and fire system deployments. Partner with a team of network engineers to configure and deploy Network Infrastructure components such as switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points to ensure reliable and highly available LAN, WAN, and security networks. Troubleshoot and conduct root cause analysis and engineer solutions to optimize performance and mitigate downtime. Monitor network performance, analyze traffic patterns, and proactively identify potential bottlenecks or vulnerabilities affecting network infrastructure and security camera services. Collaborate with third-party vendors and service providers to integrate security camera systems with clients' existing networks, ensuring compatibility and functionality. Maintain documentation, diagrams, and troubleshooting procedures to facilitate efficient support and future upgrades. Stay informed about emerging technologies, trends, and surveillance industry developments to continuously enhance the capabilities of Network and Security Camera services. Develop and maintain Network Infrastructure and security standards for security camera deployments, ensuring compliance with industry best practices. Cultivate vendor relationships and partner to develop and maintain services. Provide technical training to enable internal NOC Tier 1 capabilities. Perform capacity planning and management to ensure resilient security, camera, and fire system infrastructure. Create and maintain documentation relating to design, playbooks, and frameworks. Perform periodic hardware, software, and configuration audits and gap analysis. Participate and represent the team in change and Incident management meetings. Ensure monitoring and alerting is configured and integrated into enterprise solutions. Conduct lab testing and validation for existing and new hardware and software solutions. Maintain hardware models and software versions to avoid vulnerabilities and end of life support. Define, collect, and report on key performance measurements and service levels. Assist with license management and inventory lifecycle management. Facilitate process reviews and implement continuous improvements. Assist with infrastructure proof of concept and pilot hardware rollouts.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of relevant Security, Network Engineering and Network Support experience supporting Video Surveillance Systems and Smart Cameras.Familiarity with surveillance technologies, IP cameras, video management systems, fire protection, and intrusion systems.Strong knowledge of networking concepts, protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPN), and network security camera best practices.Proficiency in network monitoring and management tools to ensure optimal performance and uptime.Ability to analyze and interpret output of networking support utilities and tools.Ability to collect business requirements and translate into network designs.Knowledge of Video Management Systems, understanding of video compression, MPEG, H264 etc.Knowledge of Access Control SystemsKnowledge of IP networks and their component parts, Routing, Switching, BandwidthKnowledge of electronics, electrical design, heat, power, interference, connectivity. This may come from RF Systems, Communications Systems, Control Systems etc.Experience in engineering/designing, installing, programming, training in Electronic Security, Surveillance and Access Control Systems.Experience in the system design and implementation of security solutions and techniques.Quick Service Restaurant or retail networking experience is a plus.Excellent problem-solving abilities, especially in high-pressure situations.Effective communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks efficiently.Willingness and ability to work flexibly and diligently as needed to support company and customer needs.High level of self-motivation and an ability to work with a high level of initiative.Motivated self-starter with the ability to accept responsibility for projects and see them through to completion.Ability to work with minimal supervision and work effectively in high pressure situations.
