Job Description
The lead clinician will direct a team of clinicians in a shelter for unaccompanied children. Duties include: Maintaining accurate reports; maintaining on-call schedule for the support of children and staff; ensure quality assurance necessary for documentation compliance; provide counseling, crisis management, or evaluations if needed; provide opportunities for routine consultation and supervision for clinical staff; assist in discharge planning; maintain assigned reports in accordance with applicable policies and standards; ensure goal-oriented psychosocial diagnostic assessments, service plans, and progress reports are completed for the clinical department; ensure clinicians complete weekly group sessions; and communicate effectively in English and Spanish
Skills and Requirements
Bilingual in Spanish and English.
Graduate degree in psychology, sociology, behavioral sciences, or any acceptable field.
5 years clinical employment experience in the behavioral sciences
2 years' experience in a clinical supervisory role
Licensed in the State of Texas LCSW, LPC, or LMFT
Must be able to multi-task, be detail-oriented, be organized and have excellent verbal and communication skills. 1 year of experience in childcare.
1 year of experience in mental healthcare with children
Experience using the UC Portal on an ORR Program null
