Description We are seeking an IT Support Technician in Santa Barbara, California, United States. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity in the IT industry. As an IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to our team, ensuring optimal functionality of IT systems and prompt resolution of IT-related issues.
Responsibilities:
• Provide first-level IT support to team members, addressing issues promptly and efficiently
• Maintain and troubleshoot Active Directory, ensuring seamless access for all users
• Handle computer hardware issues, performing necessary repairs or replacements
• Manage configuration settings of systems and software to ensure optimal performance
• Utilize Microsoft Office 365 suite to manage and streamline internal processes
• Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
• Regularly review and update customer credit records
• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently. Requirements • Must possess knowledge and experience in Active Directory
• Proficiency in computer hardware is required
• Should have a strong understanding of Configuration Management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 is necessary
• Applicants must possess strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are needed
• The ability to work well in a team environment is essential
• Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• A strong attention to detail is required
• Experience in IT support or related field is preferred
• Must have a customer service oriented mindset
• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision is necessary
• Applicants should be able to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business requirements
