The Digital organization drives this at Arrow by creating scalable, innovative, value-creating digital strategies, capabilities, and operations for the Global Components business.
The IT Director II, Digital Technology for Arrow Global Components will be responsible for shaping and executing the technology strategy in support of our Digital strategy, vision and goals, and maintain our competitive edge in the industry. You will lead a team of highly skilled professionals and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation, streamline IT operations, and enhance the overall performance to meet customer experience and digital capability requirements.
What You Will Be Doing:
Partner closely with the Digital Leadership team to define a joint Digital strategy, north star vision and plan to deliver on priority business outcomes.Develop and execute a comprehensive aligned technology strategy, identifying emerging trends and technologies that can drive growth and efficiency.Foster a culture of innovation by identifying and implementing new technologies, tools, and processes to enhance our product offerings, customer service, and internal operations.Recruit, build, and lead a high-performing technology team, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure their professional growth and aligning their efforts with the company's strategic vision.Support development of a Digital organization culture that is customer-centric, learning-based, focused on continuous improvement, and grounded in measurement and data-based decision making.Enable the company's digital transformation efforts, through the development and implementation of digital solutions, platforms, and data-driven strategies to enhance customer engagement and optimize operations.Partner with Digital Product Management leaders to support an agile and outcomes-focused approach to solution design and delivery.Maintain the IT roadmap and IT priorities in alignment with the business strategy and roadmap.Partner with the Global IT Infrastructure and Database teams to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.Maintain compliance of Arrow's Corporate cybersecurity policies and procedures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry regulations.Establish and maintain relationships with technology vendors, partners, and stakeholders to stay updated on industry trends, work with internal Vendor Management to negotiate contracts, and leverage external resources as needed.Develop and manage the technology budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions while delivering high-quality results.Support data-driven decisions including the use of experimentation to inform next actions.Ensure the company's technology systems and practices comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.Provide strategic guidance and leadership to a team of directors, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.Serve as liaison between executive leadership and directors, facilitating effective communication and ensuring the successful implementation of organizational initiatives.
What we are looking for:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology or a related field; a master's degree or MBA is a plus.Experience with B2B ecommerce and complex CRM and sales motionsMinimum of 15 years of experience in IT leadership roles, with a proven track record in leading digital transformation initiatives.Extensive knowledge in implementing world-class e-commerce platforms and front-end customer experience enhancements.Strong background in managing large, cross-functional teams and complex IT projects.Excellent understanding of current and emerging technologies and how they can be applied to drive digital business. Strong understanding of electronic components, supply chain, and distribution processes.Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity and data protection.Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.Proven financial acumen for budget management.Demonstrated ability to create shared vision, inspire collaboration, and drive change with momentum. Able to influence and align thinking across businesses and teams.Excellent collaboration skills working with internal and external stakeholders and across both business and technical teams.High degree of personal integrity; culturally sensitive & empathetic.
Work Arrangement: (Effective Sept. 1, 2023
Hybrid: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday required office days for Dry Creek/Panorama office site; Monday/Friday-work from home.
