DescriptionECC is seeking candidates for an IT Manager position. This position leads theoperation of the IT and Cybersecurity department to ensure that IT Servicesare in alignment with the business objectives of the organization, protectsthe organization from cybersecurity threats, and ensures the organizationmeets all federal contracting cybersecurity requirements. In addition, thisposition is responsible for overseeing the daily operation of IT andcybersecurity related services at offices and job sites throughout theorganization. In this position, you will:Plan, coordinate and direct IT-related activities of the organization, aswell as provide administrative direction and support for daily operationalactivities of the IT Department.Manage financial aspects of the IT Department, including purchasing,budgeting, and budget reviewManage IT staffing, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling,development, evaluation, and disciplinary actionsCollaborate with executives, decision makers in other departments, programmanagers, and project managers to identify, recommend, develop,implement, secure and support high ROI technology solutions.Oversee the development and implementation of all IT policies andprocedures, including those for architecture, security, disasterrecovery, standards, purchasing, and service provisionLead department operational and strategic planning, including fosteringinnovation, planning projects, and organizing and negotiating theallocation of resources.Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development,upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including servers, PCs,operating systems, hardware, software, and peripheralsBenchmark, analyze, report on, and make recommendations for theimprovement and growth of the IT infrastructure and IT systemsOversee provision of end-user technical support servicesOversee data protection, backup and recovery effortsDevelop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for ITspending and initiativesNegotiate and administer vendor, outsourcing, and consultant contracts andservice agreementsPractice asset management for IT hardware, software, and equipmentEstablish and maintain regular communications with the organization'sexecutives, department heads, program managers, project managers andclients regarding IT activitiesCybersecurity AccountabilitiesManaging, deploying and maintaining security infrastructureImplementing security systems, such as firewalls, data protection controlsand encryptionConducting vulnerability tests and identifying and addressing any weaknessesMonitoring information systems and responding to any cyber-security incidentsAutomating security controls, data and processesDeveloping policy around third-party risk with vendors and suppliersIdentifying and managing data privacy risks and compliance requirementsMaintaining up-to-date knowledge on cyber-security technologies and standardsTraining employees to understand and follow security measuresIn addition to the accountabilities above, other responsibilities,tasks, and deliverables may be assigned to the incumbent of this positionRequirementsAbility to leverage technology to meet business requirementsProven competence in infrastructure and application deploymentSkilled in strategic planning, budget development and administration, andimplementation of technology best practicesTravel: Must be able and willing to travelEducation: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems isrequired.An equivalent combination of education and experience may besubstituted for this requirementPreferred QualificationsExperience working for a federal DoD contractorKnowledge of NIST 800-171, CMMC, and other federal security guidelinesFive years of progressive responsibilities leading teams in a technologicalenvironmentKnowledge of MS O365 suite, Azure, InTune, BlueBeam
ECC targeted base salary range for desired office locations (Denver, SanAntonio, Hudson, Edison) is $104,688 to $146,617annually.Actual salary offered may be affected by education, training,certifications, experience, skills, level of responsibility, and location.
