Job Description
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive Business Continuity and DisasterRecovery plans specific to information security applications.
Lead risk assessments to identify potential threats to the availabilityand integrity of security applications and formulate mitigationstrategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment betweeninformation security, BC/DR, and overall IT strategies.
Conduct regular testing and simulations of BC/DR plans to validate theireffectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Establish and maintain documentation for BC/DR procedures, includingclear escalation paths and communication plans.
Coordinate with stakeholders to define recovery time objectives (RTOs)and recovery point objectives (RPOs) for information securityapplications.
Provide training and awareness programs to ensure that relevant teamsare well-prepared to execute BC/DR plans when needed.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices inBC/DR and information security.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in IT, Information Security, or a related field.
Proven experience as an IT BC/DR Lead, with a focus on informationsecurity applications.
Strong understanding of information security principles, practices, andtechnologies.
Experience in developing and implementing BC/DR plans for complex ITenvironments, specifically addressing security applications.
Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards related to BC/DR andinformation security.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to leadinitiatives from conception to completion.
Effective communication skills to articulate complex BC/DR concepts andrequirements to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Relevant certifications such as CBCP (Certified Business ContinuityProfessional) or similar are highly desirable.
