Job Overview:
The Inventory Control Analyst is responsible for working with the Site Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Material planning teams to ensure inventory levels are accurately maintained and available to support business requirements! This includes defining, refining daily critical metric reports, inventory reconciliation reports and activities. Working with site Warehouse Desk Leads, this role will plan, distribute, and handle execution of the daily outbound order commitments to our customer base.
The scope includes Finished Goods, Work in Process, and Raw Materials. The initial focus of the role is to support the Site Operations Manager, Warehouse & Processing Manager, and site Warehouse team in the establishment of a local Inventory Governance process and local accountability and compliance to inventory control and excise tax control principles. This position will be the Data & Inventory Control Key User and will provide the first level of support for Data & Inventory Control questions at Lincolnway.
Additional responsibilities include:
Monitoring site business process conformance and reporting business process issues, implementing process continuous improvements, supporting local implementation of SAP / WMS upgrades, training end users, and providing ideas for regional functional requirements.Responsible for the oversight of the dry supply and finished goods warehouse team members.

Zero LTA’sEnsure WIP materials are planned for the next 24 hrs.SAP inventory reconciliation for WIP, Finished Goods and Materials.TECO process orders.Deliver 5s daily, responsible for Food safety and ISO programs.

Ensure accuracy of site warehouse inventoryEnsure accurate organization of Inventory Management systems at a site including:
SAP inventory, quality management transactionsWarehouse Management System actual consumption transactionsWarehouse Inventory Cycle Count ManagementInventory Management Reporting/critical metricsObsolescence Inventory Management ControlHandle the Claims process.Authoritative functional support for timely and accurate resolution of SAP COGI transaction errors at the site.Support Data Key User & Inventory Control Key User rolesAssignment Inventory Tags to Finished Goods InventoryEnsure WMS integration as the need arises.Validate BOM master data in production systems.Assign Process Instructions, Standard Operating ProceduresRun daily reconciliation reports.Collaborate with Operations and Warehouse team to ensure outbound schedules are met efficiently and on time.Develop and report on critical metrics to meet customer schedules and requirements.Oversee inventory levels and ensure no max stock breaches and stock.Work with Supply on any stock out/stock breach exceptionsIdentify potential SLOBS weekly and work with Network Supply.Lead existing SLOBS and write offs within targets.Supports Warehouse & Processing Team Lead by maintaining receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and carrying out program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.Provide business leadership to ensure that team meets or exceeds Supply Excellence critical metrics.Provide relevant training and development opportunities for the growth of the employee and team.Follows federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; carrying out adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.A positive, upbeat, and enthusiastic team member that demonstrates leadership by example in all aspects of operations as a whole.Drive continuous improvement and total employee engagement in critical success areas by empowering employees to apply Supply Excellence tools and techniques.
Key Outputs:
Direct the planning and implementation of key initiatives for the department such as GMP/ ISO/ HACCP/CARM Compliance/ 5S. Is an ambassador for safety, compliance, and quality.Support all safety and food safety audits. Responsible for all corrective action items are completed and all packaging workers understand the goals.Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.Generate ideas and implement changes in processes and use of equipment to increase efficiency, improve safety and quality, reduce costs, and improve employee morale.Builds and manages relationships that motivate, guide, and/or reinforce the breakthrough performance of others toward goal accomplishments. Develops self and others to improve performance in current role and to prepare for future roles and mentor.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
BA/BS in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Mathematical or Business degree.3-5+ years of supervisory experience in Logistics, Warehouse or Operations preferably in a best-in-class manufacturing environment with GMPs and/or a highly regulated best in class industry or an equivalent of experience including education.Demonstrated ability to provide leadership, direct change and build trust and credibility amongst peers and direct reports.Knowledge of TTB and State regulations pertaining to the production of alcohol beverages is a plus.Understanding of end-to-end supply chain operational processes e.g., MRP, MPS, inventory, conversion, logistics and customer service.Proficient with PCs and Microsoft Office.APICS desirable.Prior use of a planning system (e.g. SAP preferred)Experience in WMS implementation, transactions and troubleshooting asset.Requires understanding of Inventory & Inventory Control Business ProcessesUnderstanding of SAP Site Data.Requires excellent math skills and troubleshooting skills.
