Job Summary:
The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of inventory transaction activities and report systems involving Finished Goods product. The Supervisor shall coordinate, direct, and ensure reconciliation of SOX compliant cycle count programs for the Distribution Center. This role is responsible for all inventory audits and applicable reconciliation of discrepancies.
Additionally, the Inventory Supervisor is responsible for comprehensive oversight of inventory team members in the performance of a variety of tasks, including support activities related to the manufacturing process.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures for the Inventory Control department that enhance efficiency and inventory accuracy.Ensures Team Members are trained in all relevant instructions and procedures related to their employment and subject matter content.Reviews and approves perpetual inventory transactions including transfers and adjustments.Maintain cycle count/physical inventory programs to include initiation and reconciliation of all applicable reporting to ensure inventory accuracy. Investigate inventory discrepancies to resolve system or training issues.Ensure there are no discrepancies between items ordered and received. Executes and lead gap closing action in case issues arise.Prepares information for internal/external audits, reviewing and submitting audit requests. Reconciles inventory balances between systems to ensure interfaces are working properly and consistently.Manages process of controlling expired and near expired product, and ensuring proper disposition of the productIs responsible for the accurate storing and inventorying of inbound items to appropriate locations.Manages kitting process for the organization.Manages and coordinates all manufacturing outside processing activities for timely completion. Manages RMA activities for the Distribution CenterResponsible for oversight of metrics and status reporting as applicable.Interfaces with Product Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Regulatory and other Supply Chain colleagues to effectively execute launches and cross functional projects.Assists in preparing and controlling departmental budget.Leads, guides, and trains employees in Inventory function.Day-to-day management of employees which includes time and attendance and performance management.Ensure team members are up to date and trained to perform assigned functions.Insures appropriate training of employees in the areas of GMP, EHS, and Quality Systems.

Education/Experience Requirements
Extensive knowledge and proficiency with ERP systems. Advance knowledge of distribution, inventory and business systems is a plus. Typically requires bachelor's degree in business, Operations Management, or other related field is desired.5-7 years' experience in Distribution, Logistics, Supply Chain, or others relevant fields.A minimum of three (3) years' experience supervising preferred. Medical Device or other regulated environment experience is a plus.
Travel Requirements
Ability to travel 5% of the time depending on projects and needs.
