Canadian National Railway Company (CN) is looking for a highly motivated person to fulfill a full-time (40h/week) Intern, Talent and Succession Planning position in Montreal, QC from May - August 2024.
Job Summary
The Intern, Talent and Succession Planning is responsible for assisting with the design, development, planning, and execution of CN's Talent and Succession Planning initiatives, events, and special projects. The incumbent contributes to research, planning, and administration of talent and succession initiatives. Additionally, the position carries out logistical and administrative duties needed to support the launch of various initiatives.
Main Responsibilities
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement key Talent and Succession initiatives, including Human Resources (HR) Field, Learning, Corporate Communication, and business leadersResearch and present for consideration cutting edge Talent and Succession topics, events, practices, and approachesProvide thought provoking and impactful ideas and opportunitiesIdentify opportunities for increased recognition, visibility and development of enterprise and successor talentAssist with improving a quarterly talent scorecardDevelop and analyze the outcomes of Talent and Succession surveys related to programs, events, and overall satisfaction with their employee experience
