Position Overview
The Simulation, Optimization and Systems team in Autodesk Research comprises a group of researchers and engineers engaged in an array of projects encompassing deep learning, simulations, multi-modal large language models, and scientific computing. The successful intern candidate will join Autodesk's research team to promote the field of multi-modal large language models.
Responsibilities
Perform groundbreaking research in development, training, and evaluation of multi-modal large language modelsInnovate and design new machine learning structures. Develop and refine machine learning prototypes, and demonstrate their performanceEngage with foundational open-source models and adapt them for domain-specific applications
Minimum Requirements
Masters or Ph.D degree in Computer Science of related fieldDemonstrated understanding of machine learning fundamentals, with a specific focus on large language modelsProficiency in machine learning frameworks such as JAX or PyTorchPrior experience with multi-modal language models is a huge plusExperience adapting open-source foundational models for specialized tasks will be considered an asset
