Canadian National Railway Company (CN) is looking for a highly motivated person to fulfill a full-time (40h/week) Intern, Business Service Desk position in Montreal, QC from May - August 2024.
Job Summary
The Intern, Delivery Project is responsible to execute activities supporting the Chief Information Security Office's (CISO) Delivery team for the deployment of various Cybersecurity projects. The CISO Delivery team manages the organization's Cybersecurity Project Portfolio, a collection of projects that aim to reduce CN's cyber risks. In addition, the CISO Delivery team is accountable for the delivery of all Cybersecurity initiatives and interfacing with various collaborators from the different delivery pillars of the organization.
Major Responsibilities
Assist the CISO Delivery team on following up on key project deliverablesAssist in maintaining and monitoring project plans and schedules, work hours, budgets, and expendituresInterface with various Resource Managers to confirm project capacity for required resourcesOrganize, attend, and participate in stakeholder meetingsDocument and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetingsPrepare presentation materials for meetingsEnsure that project deadlines are metAssist in activities needed to report on project progressAssist in the creation of project plans and the identification of project milestonesCoordinate project activities by completing templates, forms, slides, task tracking documentation, and recording meeting minutes
Requirements
Experience in Business or Computer ScienceExperience in Cybersecurity
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Project Management, Computer science or equivalent field
*Any experience/education/skills/knowledge for these above would be considered as an asset
