Job Summary
The Data Operations Support Analyst is responsible for playing a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing data-related processes within the organization. The position involves handling data, troubleshooting data issues, and providing support to ensure the integrity and efficiency of the data operations.
Major Responsibilities
Verify and validate data accuracy, consistency, and completenessMonitor data inputs and outputs for errors or anomaliesImplement data quality controls and resolve data discrepanciesExecute data transformation and Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processesAssist in data migration, integration, and cleansing activitiesCollaborate with the data engineering team to maintain pipelinesInvestigate and diagnose data-related incidents and problemsTroubleshoot data processing failures and resolve them promptlyEscalate complex issues to the appropriate team members or vendorsMaintain detailed documentation of data operations procedures and configurationsGenerate regular and ad-hoc reports on data operations performanceAnalyze data trends and provide insights to improve data processesProvide technical support to end-users encountering data-related problemsOffer guidance and training to colleagues on data-related tools and processesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data-related requirements are met
Requirements
Experience in data operations, data analysis, or a similar roleFamiliarity with data management tools and softwareProficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL) and data manipulation
Education
Working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
