Canadian National Railway Company (CN) is looking for a highly motivated person to fulfill a full-time (40h/week) Intern, Administrator Identity and Access Management position in Montreal, QC from May - Aug 2024.
Job Summary
The Intern, Administrator Identity and Access Management (IAM) is responsible for managing identities and access requests and providing continuous support to CN's end users and partners. The incumbent takes charge of any requests or inquiries related to access management according to agreed service level and targets defined by the organization. The role is committed to communicating and working in collaboration with all internal teams and partners to coordinate any issues related to their access to applications and tools such as Systems, Applications and Products (e.g., AD, SAP, UNIX, Linux, Oracle). The incumbent has the opportunity to learn about different applications, as well as IAM processes and standards.
Major Responsibilities
Process identity and access related requests such as provisioning, de-provisioning and updatesManage daily activities generated by the provisioning toolPerform access reviews based on changes in identities (e.g., transfer of position or leave)Remove orphan accounts, discrepancies, unused accounts in non-production environmentsUpdate documentation
Requirements
Understanding of Identity and Access Management concepts: Access Provisioning and De-Provisioning, Access Certification and Privileged Access ManagementKnowledge of Windows Active Directory, Unix, Mainframe and other operating systemsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong time management skills and attention to detailCollaborates with key internal stakeholders to enable higher productivityFluently bilingual both written and verbal (English, French)Follows safety procedures, information security instructions and ESG principles to lead by exampleKnowledge of Microsoft Office
Education
Working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent (minimum of 2 years completed)
