Job Description
BAE Systems, Inc. employees and sub-contractors aligned to the Air Force Solutions--Strategic Systems Directorate support the United States Air Force (USAF) Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) System Directorate as it sustains the existing Minuteman III (MM III) weapon system and acquires its replacement, the Sentinel missile. BAE Systems is looking for qualified professionals to join our team for an exciting opportunity supporting sustainment and modernization efforts for the Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missile weapon system. The Minuteman III is a 1970s era weapon system and is scheduled to be retained as the United States military's prompt, global strike deterrent system until at least 2030. The Maintenance Data Collection Project Manager position is a very dynamic position that will allow opportunities to support the entire Minuteman III weapon system.
Using Major Command implementing instructions, AFCSM 21-series manuals, and applicable technical orders to validate, review, correct and manage work orders entered into the Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS) Identify and report applicable work orders that drive changes to Launch Facility and/or Launch Control Center statusCreate error trend analysis report and provide accurate narrative to applicable agencies on a monthly basis Utilize data systems, BAE Systems resources and Intercontinental Ballistic Missile System Directorate resources to provide assistance to field unit's mission.Attend maintenance scheduling meetings to receive situational awareness of maintenance activities that influence IMDS data entriesProvide guidance and assistance to the Maintenance Group Command and their staff
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
High school diploma and a minimum of 7 years of Intercontinental Ballistic Missile community experienceDetail oriented, with excellent time management skills; ability to multitask and balance competing priorities in an effective mannerStrong interpersonal skills; works well with others, and responds well to directionAbility to interact effectively and professionally at all levels throughout the Vandenberg SFB and AFNWCMust possess a strong IMDS backgroundAbility to interpret/apply applicable Major Command implementing instructions and associated technical ordersStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Community College Air Force (CCAF) Degree in one of the following: Missile Maintenance Technology, Space and Missile Maintenance Technology, Electronic Systems Technology, or Mechanical and Electrical Technology degree, 10 years ICBM Maintenance Experience, Experience with IMDS in 377th Test Execution Group, Vandenberg SFBMin Salary $109,020 - Max $185,460

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $109120 - $185460
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
