About Help Desk Analyst II

Description

As a Help Desk Analyst II, you will provide advanced technical support to our users, focusing on Active Directory management, network troubleshooting, and Office 365 applications. Your expertise will play a vital role in resolving issues and enhancing IT support capabilities. This is a contract to permanent opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide tier 2 technical support for user issues via phone, email, and ticketing system.

Manage Active Directory tasks, including Organizational Unit (OU) management, password resets, and user account provisioning.

Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and assist in maintaining network performance.

Support users with Office 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.

Document and track issues in the ticketing system, ensuring accurate records and timely follow-ups.

Collaborate with IT team members to escalate complex issues and contribute to ongoing process improvements.

Assist in creating user documentation and training materials for end-users.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in a help desk or technical support role, preferably in a corporate environment.

Strong knowledge of Active Directory, including OU structure and user account management.

Experience with network troubleshooting and diagnostics.

Proficiency in supporting Office 365 applications and services.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals).

Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools.

Basic understanding of ITIL framework and best practices.
