Health Care Compliance is a function that develops and implements efficient, effective, and sustainable programs to prevent and detect non-compliance with recognized legal and regulatory requirements. Our responsibilities include, but are not limited to: developing and deploying policies and procedures; ensuring a sound understanding of the compliance requirements through appropriate training, communications, and other methods; exercising oversight by establishing and overseeing a program of testing, monitoring, self-assessment and independent audit and review of the HCC program; driving management awareness, program effectiveness, and continuous improvement through establishment and reporting of effective compliance measures.
Global Operations, Compliance & Technology Integration (CTI)
The Compliance & Technology Integration (CTI) Team seeks a result and performance-driven individual who have demonstrated the ability to lead. The ideal candidate has:

In this role, the candidate will be able to:
Drive changes that improve HCC’s operational efficiencies through the more effective use of technology.
Focus on one or more of the following technologies: Data management, Power Automate and/or PowerApps, Tableau/Qlik and SharePoint Online improving intern's skill set.
Support the Compliance & Technology Integration team in developing, supporting, and implementing large-scale technology initiatives.
At the end of the internship, this individual will have increased technical competencies, formed meaningful business relationships, and gained knowledge of Health Care Compliance’s role within Johnson & Johnson and the life sciences industry.
Qualifications
Successful Summer Interns are required to:
Have permanent work authorization in Canada. We cannot consider students requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
Commit to a May 2024 - August 2024 internship timeframe.
The assignment may be virtual/remote, while other business-critical roles could be onsite
Be currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor’s degree
Ability to work full-time (37.5 hours per week) during the summer internship.

Capabilities/Skill sets:
Project Management – Setting Action Plans, Teamwork & Collaboration, Results-Driven, Customer Focus, Management of Project Costs and Timelines
Strong passion for healthcare, technology and adaptability/willingness to work in an ever-changing and growing technology environment
Knowledge of and experience with visualization tools and data analytics. Familiarity with platforms and programs such as Tableau/Qlik, JIRA, SQL, Java, Relational Database concepts, MS PowerApps and MS Power Automate. Salesforce and Google Analytics would be an asset but not required
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, facilitation and engagement skills, both verbal and written
Effectively promotes and manages change
Well-organized, manages multiple activities with conflicting deadlines and has solid priority and time management skills
Ability to manage the business partner relationships
