  We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Independent Agencies to lead and drive our independent agency sales efforts. This role will report into our Head of Agency and be based out of our Austin office.

  Our ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in the leadership, development, and optimization of scaled sales organizations, experience working closely with or as part of independent agencies, and the ability to work cross-functionally to identify and capitalize on opportunities. We are looking for an individual that has a passion for data-backed storytelling that will identify business opportunities that grow revenue, and brings intellectual curiosity, energized by rapid iteration in a growth environment. This role requires a dynamic leader who can build and nurture relationships with agencies, drive revenue growth, and provide exceptional leadership to our agency sales team.

  Responsibilities:

  - Manage and lead a team of independent agency sales professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to achieve sales goals and objectives

  - Build and maintain strong relationships with independent agencies, acting as the primary point of contact and ensuring their needs are met

  - Sustain close communication and alignment with clients and US sales leadership to maximize client strategies and foster trust and collaboration

  - Partner cross-functionally to identify new strategic, scalable programs and outreach opportunities specifically for independent agencies

  - Lead a high performing team and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

  - Be a creative voice to inspire the team and our clients

  - Represent TikTok with distinction at pivotal client and industry events, embodying our brand's values as a delegate and speaker, and establishing a strong presence in the industry's collective consciousness

  Qualifications

  - Minimum of 12 years of experience in sales, account management and/or product solution selling in collaboration with or for agencies

  - 8+ years of leadership experience, Experience managing and mentoring managers as well as individual contributors preferred

  - Leadership experience engaging and influencing at an executive level with cross-functional groups within a fast-growing organization

  - Previous experience managing agency relationships or programs at a platform

  - Expert knowledge of social media, mobile apps, and digital/mobile marketing, with preferred experience of self-serve platforms, auction, and biddable form of digital advertising buying

  - Data-driven, capable of in-depth data interpretation

  - Proven track record of building, developing and leading high-performing teams

  - Excellent communicator and comfortable managing multiple tasks

  - Strong executive presence and ability to remain calm under pressure
