In this context, Prime Video wants you to join the local team in Stockholm to support Prime Video leadership in developing the best content and marketing strategy possible, delighting customers and helping Prime Video grow into the most-loved entertainment destination in the region!
Supporting the Managing Director, this role will be responsible for identifying, through research and data analysis, the content needed to drive the Prime Video business forward, successfully aligning the content strategy with scheduling and marketing to ensure Prime Video customers are always engaged, well-served, and delighted by with our service.
This role will help define our overall Nordics content plan for Prime Video, owning analysis, presenting ideas to leadership on strategy development, reporting, and auditing mechanisms, as well as support our marketing planning function, ensuring the right content is scheduled at the right time with the right marketing support.
The ideal candidate will be a critical thinker who pays attention to detail, can evaluate data from multiple sources and has an ability to handle multiple priorities. They must have the ability to clearly and concisely communicate complex thoughts and ideas both in writing and verbally, know how to prioritize and manage expectations with internal clients and external vendors, operate in a dynamic environment and think outside of their direct sphere of responsibility.
Key job responsibilities
Developing the content and customer engagement plan, and effectively implement the content marketing plan for Amazon's Prime Video service in the Nordics.
Research, understand and qualify customer content needs and requirements, and provide recommendations to content and marketing orgs.
Provide actionable customer insights to help define long-term content plans, including audience priority decisions and portfolio gaps/risks/opportunities on genres and formats
Partner with Global Programming and Content teams to influence global content plans across a 3+ year horizon
Become a key input provider into Greenlight decisions made by leadership for local productions
Partner with the Global Consumer Insights team to help continuously improve the internal tools, processes and models that are used to assess and to predict the customer acquisition/engagement value of different types of Original and licensed content
Perform analysis that quantify the impact that different TV series and/or movies will have on our customer acquisition and engagement in the Nordics
In partnership with Finance and Marketing, review content goals post audience sizing research, talent confirmation, concept and episode testing
Work with content acquisition and local TVOD and Channels business teams to optimize content programs for local customers.
A day in the life
On a daily basis this role will evaluate whether we're building the right content pipeline and have the right plan to market our service and content.
They will spend time analysing internal and external data sets and building analytical models that will guide leadership on high-judgement decisions about how we allocate our content and marketing budget in the long term.
This role will be a key member of the team supporting Prime Video Nordics, reporting to the Managing Director in the UK and working closely with our local content team, business operations team, and finance team.
This role will help deliver the team's mission of building the most-loved entertainment destination in the region, by identifying how we can delight our customers with the right content portfolio and how we reach them through smart marketing.
This is a hands-on low-ego team that works closely and collaboratively, with a high degree of mutual trust and support. We get things done, together!

Basic Qualifications
Demonstrated track record of working with internal and external tools to manage large data sets, coupled with a deep understanding of statistical analysis, data modelling techniques, data mining and business analysis
Ability to unpack complex business questions with data; curiosity to dive deep and identify the root cause rather than just spot the trends
Deep experience with customer segmentation and customer behaviour analysis
Experience building analytical models in Excel
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant experience in audience and programming analysis, television content and trend research, or data and consumer insights
Ability to thrive in an environment that is tasked with providing data-driven decision support and timely, accurate and actionable business intelligence
Ability to think big, understand business strategy, provide consultative business analysis and leverage technical skills to create insightful, effective Business Intelligence (BI) solutions
Experience with one or more major data visualization tools including Tableau/QuickSight/Power BI etc.
