Your tasks
As member of Supply Chain Management (Business Area Industrial Solutions APAC), you ensure the efficient operations of all (non-plant specific) DCs & Sales Warehouses (WHs) (in the defined cluster) achieving the agreed service level targets for the respective market / customer segments, while optimizing SC cost.
For the DCs/WHs,
you ensure
the implementation & execution of efficient work processes (inbound, outbound, handling, value adding processes, packaging ...)the regular review / optimization of space utilization/storage concepts (e.g. racking solutions ...)the continuous performance monitoring & steering of 3PL providers (e.g. for transportation, handling, packaging, value adding services ... - depending on the specific set-up) - in a close collaboration / alignment with BA and GS W&T, purchasing ...the provision of a cost-efficient transportation network considering E2E supply chain requirements, being agile to adapt to changing market conditions and delivering reliable & highest service levelthe definition, implementation and monitoring of specific DCs/WHs performance KPIs, as base for continuous improvements towards process excellencethe planning and monitoring of all relevant DC/WH cost (Budget / Forecast) and take corrective measures, if requiredthe implementation of common working practices and driving for standardization (best-practice exchange) & the identification of synergies within CT and cross-BA.Pro-active analysis / pick-up SCM related customer requirements and develop corresponding solutions (e.g.EDI, Logistics Agreements, Transportation, Warehousing, Packaging). Coordinate & ensure implementation together with supporting (e.g. IT) as well as the operational (e.g. plant SCM, DC ops, Customer logistics ...) functions.Develop SC concept for new businessLaunch management & Support the Growth & Value fields activitiesFreight / Warehouse / Transport Packaging Tendering and Managementin alignment with operational functions and COO SCMTransport / Warehouse / Transport Packaging Optimization in alignment with operational functions and COO SCMWarehouse design for greenfield plant in alignment with operational functions and COO SCMSupport and implement CT SCM sustainability strategy and roadmapSupplier Improvement (Logistic, Optimization of material flow, EDI, etc...)You support / collaborate with

Qualifications
Degree in SCM, Economics/Business. Engineering or Operations
Several years of solid professional experience in SC, specifically in
Management/Leadership responsibility in the areas of Supply Chain and/or Logistics Operations (good knowledge of 3PL markets / contracting)Designing & implementing highly efficient DC/WH/Logistic processes & related systemsProject management in an international/global contextEffective communication with a high intercultural sensitivityCompany Description
