Job Description:
Fund and Brokerage Operations & Technology (FBOT) provides operations and technology support for Fidelity's funds and brokerage platform as well as sales, relationship management, and technology for the firm's clearing and custody business.
Fidelity Clearing & Custody provides a comprehensive clearing and custody platform, brokerage services, trading capabilities and practice management and consulting to registered investment advisors (RIAs), including strategic acquirers and professional asset managers, as well as retirement recordkeepers, broker-dealer firms, banks and insurance companies. In addition to providing services to third-party institutions, the National Financial Services LLC (NFS) brokerage platform supports all the clearing and custody businesses at Fidelity, including Fidelity's retail, and capital markets businesses, bringing NFS assets under administration to $3.0 trillion.
The Client Relationship Group (CRG) team has associates in locations across the US. The largest site concentration of associates are in Boston, MA and Westlake, TX but are also located in several other regional sites across the country. The Head of Custody Sales will be responsible for developing distribution and growing sales in the Custody channel and Family Offices. This role will lead the national sales team. This position will report directly to the Head of Client Growth.
The Expertise You Have
Bachelor's degreeSeries 7, 63 and 24 require (may be attained after hire).10-15 years Custody sales experience in the financial services industry. Strong knowledge of the RIA, Brokerage and Wirehouse markets; deep understanding of the industry, financial markets and competitive marktplace.Track record of managing a sales forecast and hitting & exceeding growth targets year over yearEnterprise sales experience including data driven decision making, sales methodology expertise and overall sales process background. It is important you have experience in complex deal structures.Prior leadership experience, in a highly dynamic & changing industry.Proven track record of developing, mentoring and motiving sales talent Excellent communication and presentation skills

You will be responsible for developing distribution and growing sales in the Custody and Family Office channels and managing the Custody and Family Offices sales teams.You will drive sales efficiency through the implementation and management of a high functioning sales teamYou will possess a clear understanding of the sales process, sales management, and territory management and who can contribute to the success of the company and the development of the RIA sales teamYou will work closely with the custody sales team in their respective territories to develop appropriate business plans to maximize territory sales and optimize market share within their territoryYou have experience in team based selling and understand have a value based conversation with a prospects and then bring the right team together to solve problems for the prospectsYou will create distribution strategy and opportunities in Custody channel and Family Office beyond our current platformsBuilding and maintaining deep and broad relationships in RIA marketplace and serving as Fidelity representative in the channelCollaborate with Strategic Accounts, Product and key Business Partners team to improve the RIA experience and grow sales
