In this position, you will be working with the Graphics Competitive Analysis (GCA) team with performance and power consumption data across different graphics products. You will be working as a part of cross-functional engineering team developing the latest Intel Graphics products. This performance analysis is in the critical path for delivery of Intel Graphics products to the marketplace, at the right time and at required performance/power ratio.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Running a variety of performance and power consumption data collection using the latest benchmarks
Building and configuring Windows based operating system (OS) and creating images of various installations
Building and configuring test platforms
Noting important distinctions between hardware and software observed anomalies and then documenting test results in a timely/precise manner
Providing feedback and quick information turns on collected data, latest test status, engineering builds and supporting impromptu request for additional ad-hoc testing as needed
Responsible for technical functions in support of engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, modifications, fabrications, of design circuitry, electro-mechanical systems, or specialized test equipment
Conducts engineering tests and detailed experimental testing to collect data or assist in research work
May perform operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering and 3+ years of experience in three or more of the following:
Windows platform, component, power, or graphics validation.
Graphics and compute architecture, validation concepts, power and performance methodologies, and debug process flows.
Programming languages, scripting, and markup languages (E.g. Python, Ruby, JSON, XML, etc.), and power measurement tools (DAQs, MM, O-scope)
Use of equipment to gather performance data on various 3D/media applications using different platform configurations
Hands-on experience with industry standard 3D/media benchmarks
Building/configuring modern PC systems Basic Input Output System's (BIOSes) and Windows operating systems (for example Windows 7 and XP) with a variety of common peripherals (for example, memory, PCI cards, USB devices, and other multimedia software/ hardware)
Logical system-level debug and troubleshooting skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Soldering and rework experience on silicon teardown testing is highly desirable
Experience creating and/or modifying tests and documentation
Experience automating testing via command line scripting
Experience summarizing experimental data using Microsoft Office Suite
Experience configuring/using Microsoft Windows, graphics/media benchmarks, media playback applications, and diagnostic utilities

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $92,847.00-$148,355.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
