Within GHI you will be part of a Special Circuits Horizontal team that is responsible for local and global clocking of large designs like GFX Imaging processors, Peripheral subsystems like PCIe, Type-C, Display, Media and SOCs etc. We are looking for Graphics Hardware Clocking/Engineer to join the team. In this position you will help us with the following responsibilities but not limited to:
Ownership of complex highspeed global and local clock distribution network to meet the Power and Performance targets of these differentiating designs.
Work with Architects PnP team and Execution team to identify right solutions in a timely manner.
Design various Digital/Analog circuits like Dividers, delay lines, Droop mitigation circuits, etc.
Qualifications
Behavioral traits that we are looking for:
Team player with good problem solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor's in Electrical/ Electronics/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field with at least 16 years of industry experience. Or a Master's degree in the same fields with at least 14 years of industry experience.
Your experience must be in the following areas:
VLSI Circuit Design: Knowledge of digital circuits like dividers, delay lines, duty cycle correctors, etc.
12+ years of Experience.
Clock Design: Expert in global and local clocking topologies like clock spine, H-tree, Multi source CTS, etc.
Expert in Multiple Process nodes and overall SOC level overview.
Expert in understanding of SOC and/or Graphics Clock Architecture.
Expert in Reading Layout and understanding DRCs rules. Work with PDN and LV teams to define track pattern .
Proficient in Device level simulations and variation analysis like Monte Carlo, etc.
Proficient in Static Timing Analysis Concepts
Scripting: TCL or Python
Knowledge of Automatic Place and Route (APR) flows like ICC2
External foundry experience is good but not mandatory

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
