The Global Security Organization provides industry-leading cybersecurity and business protection services to TikTok globally. Our organization employs four principles that guide our strategic and tactical operations. Firstly, we Champion Transparency & Trust by leading the charge in organizational transparency, prioritizing customer trust, and placing user needs first. Secondly, we aim to maintain Best in Class Global Security by proactively identifying and reducing risks while enabling innovative product development. In order to enhance collaboration and cross-functional partnerships, our organization follows a hybrid work schedule that requires employees to work in the office for 3 days a week, as directed by their manager. The Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance team is responsible for working closely with cross-functional partners to manage security risks to ensure we meet all industry cybersecurity compliance standards and government regulations through developing governing policies, implementing the security control framework, conducting security risk and control assessments, and staying up-to-date on global compliance initiatives.
The Security Findings Manager is responsible for ensuring the successful resolution of findings identified through internal and external audits, risk and control assessments, incidents and other remediation efforts within the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a innovative and strategic security mindset and have prior experience in Security Risk Management, Audit, IT controls, or regulatory compliance. You would be a great fit for this role if you are enthusiastic about:
1. Guiding a team of exceptional security specialists to drive solutions and remediation for cybersecurity issues and findings
2. Creating and implementing innovative, agile, and responsive cybersecurity issues management program with comprehensive reporting
3. Project management and reporting, and you can easily process and synthesize complex information from various sources to create accurate meeting notes and documentation.
4. Fostering collaboration and cross-functional partnerships to help spread awareness and drive the implementation of cybersecurity controls to mitigate challenging or unique risks
5. Pivoting projects and initiatives to stay up-to-date with a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
As a Governance, Risk, & Compliance (GRC) Security Findings Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Lead and coordinate the organization's response to cybersecurity issues identified through various inputs, including but not limited to control gaps, external and internal audits, and incidents
- Leading the development and implementation of the issues management and reporting strategy including supporting processes to ensure alignment with industry best practices
- Leading a team to develop comprehensive project plans that outline project scope, objectives, remediation strategy, and detailed remediation tasks with appropriate ownership
- Provide strategic guidance to remediation owners, fostering a culture of proactive risk management, sound decision-making, and critical issues management planning.
- Manage and own all remediation projects and report on the progress of finding closure activities.
- Lead all proposed remediation solutions and provide constructive feedback when they do not meet the required remediation standards.
- Communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders and leaders on cybersecurity compliance, risk, and controls management topics and program-specific reporting
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of IT audit and compliance programs experience in a global organization with in-depth knowledge and experience of cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, SOC 2, NIST CSF and other regulatory requirements
- Experience in supporting complex third-party audit projects in a cloud-centric environment , with a strong aptitude to understand emerging technologies to assure regulatory and compliance requirements are met
- Experience collaborating closely with security partners, including incident response, red teams, architects, and engineers to seamlessly incorporate cybersecurity controls and risk management processes into their day-to-day operations
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to document, communicate, and report security assessments as well as the status of the implementation and effectiveness of cybersecurity controls with product and business leaders
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and execute security assessment projects and initiatives on time with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to work at the San Jose, D.C., or NYC office for 3 days per week and be willing to travel to other offices with the flexibility to conduct virtual meetings, including international locations, as required to support business needs
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with assessing payment card data security and compliance of an e-commerce environment
- Relevant industry certifications (i.e. PCI-P or Former QSA, CISM, CISA, CISSP, CFE)
