Global Sourcing & Indirect Procurement Director
Job Description:
As the Global Sourcing and Procurement Director, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing the company's global sourcing and procurement strategy. This position requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in driving efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainable practices throughout the supply chain. You will be responsible for optimizing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality goods and services.
What You Will Be Doing:
Develop and execute a comprehensive global sourcing strategy aligned with organizational goals and objectives.Identify and assess potential suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring optimal terms and conditions.Foster strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure a reliable and cost-effective indirect procurement ecosystem.Collaborate with suppliers to drive continuous improvement in quality, cost, and innovation.Implement cost-saving initiatives and identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality.Conduct thorough market analysis to stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and emerging opportunities.Oversee the procurement process, ensuring compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.Streamline procurement workflows and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Identify and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain, including geopolitical, economic, and environmental factors.Develop contingency plans to ensure business continuity in the face of supply chain disruptions.
What we are looking for:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, or a related field.Proven experience in a senior-level sourcing and procurement role with a global scope.Strong negotiation, contract management, and vendor relationship skills.In-depth knowledge of international markets, regulations, and industry best practices.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Demonstrated ability to drive cost savings and process improvements.Data driven with experience leveraging business analytics to drive actionable results.
Work Arrangement: (Effective Sept. 1, 2023):
New hires are expected to be in person for the initial 8 weeks of onboarding, once this period is completed, employee will then move to hybrid (3 days in office, 2 remote)

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
