ROLE SUMMARY
The Global Medical Partnership Lead is a key member of the Medical Planning and Impact leadership team and is accountable for the development and execution of the MCCDH group's/enterprise wide external partnership strategy . They combine expertise of external partnership cultivation with an understanding of CMAO's priorities to define the areas of focus and prioritization where successful partnerships can unlock additional value for the CMAO organization. To this end, Global Medical Partnership Lead in combination with the Global Medical Partnership Director will be accountable for identifying key partners aligned to strategic areas of interest, and executing the necessary agreements to deliver meaningful and measurable results. The Global Medical Partnership Lead reports to the Medical Planning & Impact Ream Lead and closely collaborates with all MCCDH verticals and an extensive network of cross functional partners including those in categories/countries and the CMO.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify and source, develop, and close partnershipsthat drive mutual value creation that could be achieved together
Cultivate and foster strong external partner relationships with high potential innovation partners, identifying opportunities that the value creation could not be achieved apart
Manage partnerships once they are signed to achieve KPIs and exceed business goals
Provide perspective on future of Pharmaas a thought leader on specific areas of innovaton, informing the innovation agenda
Act as a key enabler in building a strong cultureand driving the MCCDHs disruptive innovation agenda
Collaborate closely with stakeholders, incl.:
Is recognized internally and externally as a thought leader and applies this to influence the strategic direction of a Global Business Unit/Global Operating Unit or Division
Leverages an environment of experimentation to influence direction
Leads multifaceted, unique, long-term plans and projects across the CMAO enterprise for the benefit of Categories and Regions
Identifies multiple solutions or innovative options in solving uniquely complex problems with long term effect on the CMAI and potentially on customers
Exercises foresight and judgment in initiating and guiding complex projects in unprecedented situation
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
MBA + Experience (13+ years) in positions within the innovation healthcare ecosystem with proven track record required or PHD/PharmD or higher scientific degree + Experience (8+ years) in positions within the innovation healthcare ecosystem with proven track record required
Measured success in business development or corporate development roles that involve structuring and negotiating innovative partnerships that have led to growth and impact
Established network of senior level relationships in defined segments including at least one of the following tech companies, retail partners, payers, and provider organizations
Ability to build close relationships with ecosystem leaders to drive innovative partnership opportunities
Peer and thought partner to vast network of innovation and leaders
Track record of strong networking and working collaboratively across functions, geographies, and companies (e.g., with external partners) to drive forward innovation
Executive Presence in working with senior leadership on highly visible partnerships
Leadership : Comfort with ambiguity, and complex "white space" environments. Ability to embrace and encourage the implementation of innovative ideas and foster a culture of collaboration/teamwork. Demonstrated expertise and capabilities in matrixed, cross-functional leadership, and influencing without authority
Collaboration : Ability to work effectively within and across teams, organizations and the enterprise. Demonstrated ability to take appropriate risks, share responsibilities and credit, celebrate/reward accomplishments, and instill in others a sense of urgency and ownership
Influencing & Communications: Track record of cultivating relationships with internal/external stakeholders. Ability to communicate effectively and display high emotional intelligence during interactions/communications with others. Strong presentation skills suitable for Global Leadership and teams and external audiences
Prioritization : Ability to manage competing priorities and demonstrates ability to prioritize and make decisions to maximize value and resource allocation
Established track record of values and compliance leadership, including across diverse cultures and geographies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including scientific writing skills
Strong work ethic and history of delivering project within stated timelines.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $191,300.00 to $318,800.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 22.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
