Core Responsibilities
As the driving force behind the LEGO Group's analytics endeavors, you'll be at the forefront of shaping and driving innovative strategies that seamlessly align with our global commercial goals. Your role involves not just crunching numbers, but weaving together market trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscapes to well-informed decision-making. You'll guide the team in crafting compelling performance stories and delivering essential business reports. Collaborating closely with business partners across different part of organization, you'll help create data products that offer richer insights. Nurturing collaboration and innovation, you'll ensure analytics becomes a pivotal aspect of our global commercial operations. And when it comes to executive-level reporting, you'll be the storyteller, presenting concise and insightful summaries of our global commercial performance to our key business partners!
Play your part in our team succeeding
The successful candidate will be part of a recently restructured global Analytics and Insights team. You will help shape the team's capabilities in line with our vision for advanced analytics and global commercial success.
Do you have what it takes?
Ideally you have several years' experience in commercial analytics and/or consultancy. The ideal candidate for this role will have a solid background in advanced analytics, data science, and business management, as well as leading teams and managing large-scale projects. In addition, you have experience in:
Applying advanced analytics and data science techniques to solve complex business problems. It will be a plus if you come from commercial analytics or consumer goods industry.
Programming languages such as SQL, Python or R, and experience with relevant data science libraries and tools.
Collaborating with key partners across the organization to understand business needs and spot opportunities for advanced analytics to drive growth.
Owning development of advanced analytics strategies and solutions that support the company's commercial operations and growth initiatives, such as portfolio segmentation and pricing strategies.
Leading projects with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to develop and implement advanced analytics models, tools, and platforms that support the company's global commercial operations.
Visualizing the results of advanced analytics projects to key partners and decision-makers, and working with them to implement recommendations and drive business results.
