Join us for an exciting opportunity as a Global Business Process Owner for Master Data Management where you will be at the forefront of shaping and streamlining Master Data processes at Novartis. With the authority to define and implement changes for efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance, you will play a key role in transforming our business practices. As the owner of Master Data processes in Supply Chain, you'll provide both strategic and tactical direction, identifying and addressing gaps and inefficiencies, driving optimization initiatives that prioritize Novartis's continued success.

Key Responsibilities:
• Sets the vision and ensures design of a Master Data process, manages improvements and implementation.
• Oversees and ensures proper Master Data performance.
• Accountable to document the Master Data processes and to ensure effective deployment of the documented standards.
• Accountable for assessing, prioritizing, approving or rejecting change/enhancement requests to the process of managing Master Data. Ultimately decides on incorporation into the standards or for single non-standard solutions to be accepted.
• Accountable for driving the process ownership implementation according the standards for the Master Data management domain ensuring responsibilities are cascaded appropriately within the NTO organization establishing a network of process experts and sharing best practices.
• Provide process expertise related to Master Data management domain into major change programs such as SHAPE UP, SPEED, NOSSCE and single Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
• Ensures that processes to maintain and review data are maximizing the standard SAP functionalities and are in compliance to the internal and external regulations.
• Ensure that the Key Indicators to assess Master Data management effectiveness are set and they are consistently monitored along the process structure.

Role Requirements
Essential Requirements:
• University degree in Operations Management or related discipline.
• 10+ years' experience in a managerial role within Technical Operations for large multi-national organizations in the pharmaceutical / healthcare business.
• Experienced leader in a matrix environment - able to mobilize, lead and influence the user community around the world.
• Thought leader in the design of Master Data management within ERP systems - specifically SAP.
• Has broad understanding of Supply Chain processes within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Detailed and specific knowledge of Master Data Maintenance, Data analysis, in terms of availability, accuracy and consistency, and alignment across locations and systems including functional expertise (quality, asset management, planning, procurement).
• Excellence in global program and project management.
• Fluent in English written & spoken.
