Our MCVO Regulatory Assurance team is seeking a professional who is interested in utilizing their skills and experience to help build out & execute on team's regulatory quality assurance strategy, while developing competencies around derivative & security products, respective business areas, legal agreements, technology flows and global regulations.
OUR IMPACT
Margin, Collateral, and Valuations (MCVO) within Global Markets Operations is a global, fast-paced and dynamic team which supports all areas of the firm dealing with funding, cash movement, collateral and margin management and pricing. The team also interacts with many other areas of the firm giving members a unique perspective into the various business lines of the firm while impacting multiple business streams. The team manages a wide range of complex processes, with focus on risk management and controls to preserve and enhance firm's operational capabilities, capital, commerciality, and adherence to rules & regulations.
JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with various teams within organization to conduct detailed risk reviews, evaluating the effectiveness of processes and controls to identify potential areas of risk Execute on remediation solutions to mitigate risks & enhance team's regulatory control framework Lead and provide guidance on team's responses to Regulator & Internal audits, and other regulatory inquiries partnering with Compliance & Legal and ensuring timely and accurate completion Involvement in implementation of regulatory changes and ongoing maintenance impacting the team Partner with Engineering & Business Intelligence teams to build out effective & efficient risk management tools & capabilities Keep abreast of regulatory change and participate in industry forums Foster relationships across multiple areas in the Firm including leadership in Operations, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, Internal Audit, & Risk
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Proactive, self-motivated individual with high levels of ownership, and driven to achieve Strong analytical and problem solving skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with ability to keep track of a varied workload, balance competing priorities and meet deadlines Ability to dig into the detail, challenge processes, identify areas of potential risk and generate creative solutions Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders Desire to work in a fast-paced environment Experience with data analytics is a plus, understanding the detail and identifying possible issues with accuracy & completeness Experience with Quality Assurance, Regulatory or Audit background is preferred
