JOB TITLE Global Assistant Brand Development Manager - Dove Deodorants

JOB PURPOSE
As a senior Assistant Brand Manager, you will be working alongside the Brand Manager and Director, working on developing new an ground breaking innovation, along side outstanding communication to deliver strong mixes and communication plans to markets to drive the brand's growth. This is a unique opportunity to lead project workstreams independently and add huge value to the brand, so would ideally suit a marketeer with proven brand management experience, interested in a more senior role and who wants to move into a Brand Manager position as the next step.
The successful candidate must be able to work independently, create and maintain great relationships virtually with cross category teams and our lead markets all over the world and have a strong attention to detail. We are looking for someone with strong leadership skills and a naturally proactive attitude. The role offers plenty of scope for creativity and independent leadership on smaller workstreams, as well as clearly ownable deliverables on large projects.
RESPONSIBILITIESYou will play a key supporting role to the Global Senior Brand Manager & Global Brand Director, but will be independently managing many of the project work-streams. Independently lead project networks to deliver work to agreed milestones by motivating the internal brand team, cross-functional teams and external agencies to deliver a product mix on time, in full. Managing end-to-end comms process, from insight generation to asset development and delivery. Work closely with local teams of key countries to ensure good team alignment and deployment of mixes in each region. Experience within or strong affinity for the Beauty and Personal Care industry, premium beauty brands, or FMCG would be an advantage Critical to have good relationship building skills and familiarity with working in virtual teams, key to building positive relationships with market partners, cross-functional team and external agencies. Consistent track record of analytical and organisational skills. Autonomy, strong leadership skill with self starter mindset Good creativity and sense of aesthetics Passion and understanding of consumers and shoppers. NOTES

Location
In September 2020, Unilever announced the intention to build a new sustainable campus site in Kingston, London to house the employees who currently work in 100 Victoria Embankment in Blackfriars, Lever House in Kingston and Graze in Richmond. We are creating our own Unilever sustainable, agile work environment, purposefully bringing us together in our own Unilever ecosystem. The campus is due to be completed in early 2025 and will consist of two interconnected buildings, as well as landscaped surrounding areas.
