Acts as the primary territory sales person to retail and food service accounts including smaller accounts
like convenience and gas stores, small grocery stores, drug stores, restaurants as well as large accounts
like supermarkets.
This position contributes to the success of the PepsiCo business by maximizing volume and revenue
performance in an assigned territory of retail and foodservice accounts.
This role will have the primary responsibility for managing a team 1-2 Account Leads and also planning and providing direction to a team of Full Time Merchandisers to drive superior marketplace execution and customer service, share growth and profit performance. As the manager of the Account Leads, this role will have the authority to hire, promote, and manage all aspects of the performance of the Account Leads.
Specific management duties, include but are not limited to, interviewing, selecting and training Account Leads, assessing performance against plan metrics, and providing feedback on performance on a regular basis.
The Geo Sales Leader provides an elevated level of professional selling for incremental customer
initiatives, manages orders in all small format accounts and ensures proper customer inventory levels are
maintained by the account leads and merchandising teams. This role will lead incremental selling initiatives and grow business in assigned territory, gaining/developing new business and providing an elevated level of customer service across territory. The Geo Sales Leader will be responsible for driving order and merchandising standards across the territory including selling and display execution and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of orders. This role will report into the Sales District Leader and collaborate across the Merchandising Lead, Delivery Lead, Key Account teams and Foodservice Teams.
Responsibilities
Driving incremental selling initiatives, developing new business and managing sales execution of the PepsiCo portfolio within assigned geographyExecute and administer perfect CDA compliance in assigned territoryCommunicate incremental displays sold and product needs in LF accounts via SMARTR to Account Leads (ALs) and Full-Time Merchandisers (FTMs)Coach and lead a team of order merchandisers on selling and display execution, merchandising standards, and ensure accurate and timely orders are submitted. Dotted line management of account leads Create orders for all Small Format accountsManage, motivate and inspire frontline account leads associatesCreate orders in Small Format AccountsManage a roster of new and existing accountsProvide superior customer serviceCultivate strong relationships with customers Activate local and national marketplace initiatives and promotions to build brand development and maximize brand performance Collaborate closely with ALs, KAMs and SDL's to target incremental selling opportunities through weekly connectsProvide a high degree of influence when selling SF CDA's, holiday promos and various initiatives with key Customers
Compensation and Benefits:
The expected compensation range for this position is between $50,400 - $75,550 based on a full-time schedule.Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.In addition to salary, PepsiCo offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees and their families, subject to elections and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Health and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Insurance (Accident, Group Legal, Life), Defined Contribution Retirement Plan.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and/ or equivalent work experienceA minimum of 2 years fact based selling experience, experience with a consumer package goods organization or direct store delivery environment preferredPrevious people management experience or demonstrated leadership capabilitiesCommitment and ability to succeed within fast-paced environmentSkilled people leader, ability to coach and performance manage team members Skilled at solution sellingEffective communication and collaboration skills Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings and/ or weekends Highly motivated individual with "win in the marketplace" attitude Business & financial acumenProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point) and ability to effectively navigate iPad applicationsMust be willing and able to lift up to 40 lbs. periodically This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States
