About Firmware Engineer, Embedded System BSP, Pixel

  Minimum qualifications:

  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

  5 years of experience in development, testing, and deployment for Android BSP.

  4 years of experience working with software development in C/C++ and git version control.

  Preferred qualifications:

  Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.

  7 years of experience relevant to development, testing and deployment for Android BSP, Linux device drivers, and Linux kernel modules.

  5 years of experience working with software development in C/C++ and git version control.

  Ability to communicate in English fluently.

  The Google Pixel team focuses on designing and delivering the world's most helpful mobile experience. The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google’s artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.

  Plan, develop, and manage the productive Software Codebase and Infrastructure to accommodate the various Pixel devices.

  Engage and integrate the new Android and Kernel features to Pixel devices for our customers.

  Develop tools to optimize Pixel Codebase management.
