In this role you will be responsible for the organization and execution of activities in the assigned accounting area! You will provide relevant records, quality and timely information to fulfill the needs of process management and decision-making, in accordance with the law, internal regulations, Good Practices, and business objectives.
Your responsibilities will focus also on development of the processes internally and with local requirements and unification / development in IT solutions including new software implementation leading. Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for collecting and preparing data, G/L posting in SAP.
• Reporting and creation of analyses and preparation of financial reports with clarifications.
• Daily communication with Novartis export markets all around the globe (in English).
• Assistance at Execution of assigned statements of accounts according to requirements of local legislation and Novartis Group.
• Cooperation with internal and external stakeholders (auditors, external institutions).
• Unification of processes between markets and in following local requirements.
• Leading the projects and the implementation of new IT systems.

Role Requirements
Essential Requirements:
• University degree in economics & finance or other equivalent degree.
• Several years of experience in a complex accounting position.
• Good knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS).
• Fluent in English.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel.
• Accuracy, self-initiative, responsiveness and strong communication and leadership skills.
• Flexibility to work in a fast paced, quickly changing work environment and ability to operate in a global matrix environment.
Desirable requirements:
• Experience with SAP is an advantage.
• ACCA (completed or in progress) is an advantage.
