Responsibilities
The Opportunity
The role is focused on ensuring supervising and managing accounting and reporting, analysis, business and process support as well as delivering real time, accurate and relevant information within a customer focused environment.
This position is responsible for the ESSA HQ Accounting (including HFM Reporting); Comp & Ben accounting and reporting such as group Insurance and bonus reserve. Also responsible to ensure COE team support in all ESSA HQ accounting matters, investments reporting, IC accounting, matching and PEP Consolidation.
The role will cooperate with multiple countries in ESSA, IBM, and HQ managers to ensure financial package in USGAAP as well as statutory deliverables
Your Impact
As an Europe FR Manager scope would consist of:
Lead the services R2R according to SLA. DC:
Ensure the integrity of the Company's ledgers and associated systems. Develop systems and procedures for efficient and effective management of the Company's finances.Oversees all general accounting activities, including transactional processing and reconciliation processLead and participate in the monthly accounting close ensuring timeliness, accuracy, completeness and compliance with corporate and statutory policies.Provide statutory reporting and tax compliance.Prepare monthly reporting package, including comparative reports of GAAP operating results and financial position and variance explanations for both the legal entity and the individual business units.Responsible for the execution of SOX internal controls; controls testing, active participation in the periodic review of key controls; ensuring their operational effectiveness; maintenance of Test Script documentation; quarterly certification according to Compliance policies and procedures; and participation and contribution during the review and maintenance of the Risk Control Matrix. More specifically, internal controls related to the position.
Implement both, short and long term strategy.
DI: Develop a customer focused approach to the internal client base
Generate strategy that allows to perform the operation in a robust control environment.
DC: Manage the work and development of staff members.Provide coaching / mentoring to the team. DKPI's monitoring and monthly presentation. ICFoster a Culture of continues improvement. DClose interaction with OU to foment networking and service. DCAchieve AOP - cost per transaction. DSupport effective change management process. DCSupport LATAM SSC RTR Sr. Manager to drive People Strategy and Core People Processes. DCIContribute to improve and maintain a healthy organizational climate (OHS)Develop a customer focused approach to the internal client base.
