Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a subcontractor Field Technician for a leading enterprise technology provider as a permanent position. The position is based out of Halifax. The candidate will be responsible for service calls in the area as well as servicing a variety of payment systems including ATMs, self-checkout, POS systems, etc. at applicable client locations. Daily tasks will involve performing customer installations, maintenance, and service calls for issues related to pin-pads, network faults, configuration, security, remote system access, printers etc. They will be assigned a job through a ticketing system and must complete that action within a certain amount of time. This will involve travelling to multiple locations per day, which means you must have a valid driver's license. The successful candidate should have experience with field service work and be willing to work 40/hrs a week.
Skills and Requirements
Have a High School Diploma
Valid Drivers License
Must be a Canadian Citizen or PR
Must be able to work shift work (flexible between the hours of 8am - midnight) Experience with a ticketing system (Oracle or equivalent) null
